Pharmacological effects
Stanozolol was developed in the 1960s at the Winthrop Laboratory in the USA for postoperative reconstructive therapy and the treatment of anaemia. It is also used in veterinary medicine to treat emaciated animals.
In the mid-1970s, it was widely used in power sports to achieve beautiful and pronounced muscular relief, to accentuate veins, and to normalize an athlete’s weight.
Its pharmacokinetic properties allow it to be used to remove fatty deposits. Winstrol does not aromatize and does not help to retain water in the body, which eliminates the phenomenon of recovery at the end of the course. The product can be used before competitions.
Winstrol stimulates appetite, increases the level of free testosterone in the blood and improves endurance. The product is used by swimmers, runners and even chess players.
Winstrol helps maintain the body during intense and hard training.
The product has a long lasting effect as it increases the size of the muscles in which it is injected.
Usage and dosage
“A course of Winstrol Relief and Drying lasts from 6 to 8 weeks. The optimal dosage is 50 mg daily. Beginners are advised to start with 10 mg and increase the dosage to the optimal level within a week.
A special sports diet is recommended during the course.
Combination
“Winstrol is sometimes used in weight gain courses, but in this version it is combined with stronger androgenic drugs – Danabol, Anapolon. Such treatment should be combined with aromatase inhibitors, using tamoxifen as PCT.
For drying and preparation for competition Winstrol is combined with trenbolone.
Winstrol Depot side effects
Winstrol Depot has many possible side effects. By no means can it be defined as the most dangerous anabolic steroid, but it can’t be defined as the most beneficial in terms of side effects either. Most healthy men should avoid Winstrol Depot side effects that have consequences, and this is also true for some women taking low doses. However, as with anything in life, the most important factor is genetic reaction and awareness of potential negative problems. To help you understand the possible side effects of Winstrol Depot, we’ve grouped them into their respective categories below.
- estrogen:
Winstrol Depot has no estrogenic side effects. This steroid cannot convert to estrogen, which means it cannot cause gynecomastia or water retention. This also means that excessive water retention cannot cause high blood pressure. However, in some people, blood pressure can be high.
Androgens:
Androgenic side effects of Winstrol Depot are possible despite the low androgenicity of this steroid. Hair loss and acne are possible. Acne depends on genetic predisposition. Hair loss can only occur in people who are predisposed to male pattern balding, which means your hair will fall out at some point anyway. If you’re prone to male pattern baldness, there’s a very good chance Winstrol Depot will accelerate it.
Important note: The 5-alpha reductase enzyme does not synthesize the hormone stanozolol, which is the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to DHT. Stanozolol (Winstrol Depot) is already DHT; therefore, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (finasteride) will not help combat the androgenic side effects of Winstrol Depot.
Women are also susceptible to the androgenic side effects of Winstrol Depot as it is associated with virilization. Symptoms of virilization can include deepening of the vocal cords, clitoral enlargement, and body hair. Women can take this steroid without virilization symptoms if low doses are used, but some women will be overly sensitive if they take any dose. It may be a good choice for some female athletes, but may not be considered the best choice. If you are taking it and symptoms occur, they will go away if you stop taking it initially. If you ignore the symptoms and continue using it, they may become irreversible.
- Cardiovascular:
The biggest concern is the side effects of Winstrol Depot on the cardiovascular system. This is a steroid that is known to have a strong negative impact on cholesterol levels by lowering HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol) and increasing LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol). As mentioned in the section on estrogens, it may have a negative effect on blood pressure in some users.
Important note: If you have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or cardiovascular disease, you should not take this anabolic steroid.
If you are healthy enough to take Winstrol Depot, you can avoid cardiovascular side effects with a healthy lifestyle. They will also be felt if you are healthy, so it is very important to monitor your health during and after use. Regular cardiovascular exercise is recommended and a cardiovascular-friendly diet is essential. The diet should be high in omega fatty acids, low in saturated fats and simple sugars. Antioxidants for cholesterol are also a good idea. - Testosterone:
Use of Winstrol Depot suppresses the natural production of testosterone in all men. Genetics will not protect you from this. Therefore, it is very important to use some form of exogenous testosterone when using Winstrol Depot, otherwise a man will find himself in a low testosterone state. Low testosterone is not only very unhealthy but also causes many unpleasant symptoms.
Important note: the form of testosterone used is irrelevant.
Once Winstrol Depot has been completed and all anabolic steroids have been removed, natural testosterone production will resume. This will not happen overnight, but post-treatment programmes (PCT) are recommended. A PCT plan will not mean the end of the solution, it will still take time, but PCT will increase the chances of a stable and reliable recovery.
Important note: Natural testosterone recovery means that there is no damage to the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis (HPTA) and no pre-existing low-level condition.
- Hepatotoxicity:
Like all C17-aa anabolic steroids, Winstrol Depot is toxic to the liver. Compared to other C17-aa steroids, the toxicity of this steroid is in the middle. Liver enzymes are elevated during administration. With proper use, they should return to normal after discontinuation of use.
Important note: This steroid should not be used if you have liver disease or liver problems. You should only use this steroid if you are healthy enough to take it and only if the following conditions are met:
The duration should not be longer than 6-8 weeks.
Excessive alcohol consumption, if not all alcohol, should be avoided.
Other C17-aa steroids should not be used.
Over-the-counter drugs should be avoided if possible as many are toxic to the liver.
Liver cleansers should be used.
